FAQs

How much does procurement consulting cost?

1

Every engagement is scoped into phases with a fixed fee per phase, agreed before any work begins. You'll know exactly what you're paying and what you're getting before you commit to anything. Fees depend on the scope of the work, which we define together in the first conversation.

That's completely fine, and often the best place to start. A single contract review, one sourcing project, or one underperforming supplier can be scoped as a small first piece of work. There's no expectation that it leads to anything bigger.

Can I get help with just one procurement or supplier issue?

2

How do I know if my business needs procurement support?

3

That's normal, and working it out is part of the first conversation. Often you know something isn't right, a supplier issue, rising costs, a contract worry, without knowing exactly what the solution looks like. We start there, and define the work together.

How quickly can  procurement consultancy start?

4

Typically within days. The process is a conversation, a scoped proposal, and once the agreement is in place, the work begins.

Do you work with businesses across the UK?

5

Yes, depending on what the work needs. Much can be done remotely, but some work benefits from time on site, particularly early on when understanding how the business operates. We agree the right balance as part of scoping. Trusure is based in Aberdeen and works with businesses across the UK.

Why is procurement important for business growth and profitability?

6

Procurement has a direct effect on margin, continuity, and risk in any business that relies on suppliers. For manufacturers especially, where a large share of costs sits in bought-in materials, components, and services, the effect on margin is significant. But it goes beyond cost. Effective procurement protects continuity of supply, manages the risk of supplier failure, supports new product development, unlocks innovation, and gives the business the confidence to grow. Poor procurement shows up as rising costs, supply disruptions, compliance and quality risks, and decisions made late or without good information.
